Research Associate opportunities at Lancaster University, UK

Post by Brewis »

Hi everyone – apologies for cross-postings but these job opportunities are ideal for either folk close to finishing their PhDs or who have finished. I’m sharing on behalf of a mate who is involved in the relevant project – Alison Stowell, who can field enquiries at a.stowell@lancaster.ac.uk

We are recruiting 3 Research Associates for the project.

Plastic Packaging in Peoples’ Lives; Bridging the attitude behaviour gap.

This is an exciting opportunity for three talented and experienced researchers to work within a multidisciplinary research programme and network. We welcome applicants with a background in business, sociology, anthropology or other social science disciplines; with specialisms in sustainability, marketing, consumer behaviour, organisational behaviour or supply chain management. The researchers will contribute to the UKRI NERC funded “Plastic Packaging in Peoples’ Lives (PPiPL): Bridging the consumer attitude behaviour gap” project led by Lancaster University in collaboration with 11 project partners. The researchers will be based at Lancaster University and function as part of a specialist cluster working on sustainability issues and innovations within the Centre for Consumption Insights (CCI). The PPiPL project centres on the delivery of innovative solutions in the drive to eliminate problematic or unnecessary food plastic packaging waste.
