I am writing to seek your solidarity in difficult times. Over the years many of us have given our free labour either as authors, reviewers or editors to the journal Gender, Work and Organization, building it into the No. 1 Women Studies journal globally. Developments occurring over the past several months have led to trust between our community and the publisher being irreparably broken, triggering a mass resignation across the editorial boards. Your support will be gratefully received. If you can, please sign with your full name, university affiliation, and your role in the journal (e.g. author, reviewer, editor) by this evening UK time, but please do not amend the text of the letter. The letter with signatures will be officially submitted to the publisher on Thursday 7 March.
Our feminist community has taken a knock, but together we will rebuild. Thank you for your solidarity.
